Sisal fiber used in our products is sustainably harvested from the flowering Sisal plant (Agave sisalana). A species native to southern Mexico, but widely cultivated and naturalized in many other countries.
Once the leaves are harvested and processed, only the fibers (shown here) remain. The long strands can be woven, knitted, used as bristles, etc.
